The Gallery- April

This week’s prompt for The Gallery is April. Hmm. Thinking long and hard about the hottest April on record, Easter, the Royal Wedding and all the other shenanigans that have been literally crammed into this month. It’s been a month of playing and sunshine; hardy any school (or for me, work) and much laughter. How to choose just one photo to sum it all up?

The big one is a little confused about the royal wave...

I had to choose this photo. We spent ages making the tiara for the school party, we donated all of our bunting and flags. We baked cakes and we pinned flowers to dresses. The big one came home from school and announced that she still likes dinosaurs better than princesses. And the husband breathed a sigh of relief. For many, The wedding sums up April. No other picture would do.
